The Collaboration Creators of Perceptions West have 100% input and direction in the work created: from movement to artistic direction, performance and costumes, music creation and more. > Learn MorePERCEPTIONS DANCE FESTIVALIn 2010 Perceptions Dance created the Perceptions Dance Festival. The goal of the festival is the provide emerging and established choreographers and companies an opportunity to have their work fully presented in New York City, with a strong focus on advertising, press, networking and documentation in a state-of-the-art facility. > Learn MorePROJECT AUMIn 2012, Perceptions Dance and Studio Anya will launch Project AUM, an education outreach program designed to create opportunity to artists to help further financial stability while remain within the field of movement. Participants will perform work by professional choreographers that is based on Studio Anya's AUM Curriculum. In return, participants will learn the AUM Curriculum in full, be prepared to take the Pilates certification exam, find personal clients and be readied to teach professionally as a method of financial support and livelihood. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the inner workings of a dance company as well as small business through Perceptions Dance and Studio Anya. Perceptions Dance is currently the resident dance company at Studio Anya, teaching AUM Curriculum classes and hosting open level dance classes to the general public.
